Magistracy

Master's degree is the level of postgraduate education aimed at training personnel with the award of a master's degree in the appropriate educational program with the mandatory acquisition of at least 60-120 academic credits;
A master's student is a person studying for a master's degree;
Master's degree is a degree awarded to persons who have mastered Master's degree programs; 
Master's thesis is the final work of a master's student of a scientific and pedagogical master's degree, which is an independent scientific study containing theoretical and/or practical developments of an urgent problem in the field of a chosen educational program, based on modern theoretical, methodological and technological achievements of science and technology;
Master's project is the final work of a master's student of a specialized master's degree, which is an independent study containing theoretical and (or) experimental results that allow solving an applied problem of an actual problem of a selected educational program;
The Master's degree program in the scientific and pedagogical direction implements educational programs of postgraduate education for the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel for universities and scientific organizations with in-depth scientific-pedagogical and research training. The training period is 2 years.

The Master's degree in the profile direction implements educational programs of postgraduate education for the training of managerial personnel for the sectors of economics, medicine, law, education, art, services and business, defense and national security, law enforcement, with in-depth professional training. The training period is 1 year.

A master who has graduated from a specialized master's degree is allowed to pedagogical activity after additional development of the educational program of the master's degree in pedagogical profile.  The master of the profile direction, who has completed the educational program of the master's degree in pedagogical profile, is issued a corresponding certificate to the main diploma. In this regard, additional training courses in all educational programs will be organized at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The training period is 15 weeks.

The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University provides training in 34 educational programs of the scientific and pedagogical direction of the magistracy and 16 educational programs of the profile direction.

The University is actively working in partnership with foreign universities with international accreditation. Students undergo scientific internships and master educational programs in accordance with the established procedure in leading universities of Kazakhstan, as well as near and far abroad.
